The drying time of oil paint can be speeded by the addition of certain substances such as alkyd (artificial resin) and varnish. Suitable varnish and the correct use of these substances can be explained and demonstrated during tuition.

Interesting Note: Alkyd paints are actually oil paints with alkyd already added, so are in fact ready made fast-drying oil paints.
