Oil painting brush techniques are probably most similar to acrylic as it does have a comparable consistency and similar brushes tend to be used . Oil however is far more versatile and not constrained by the quick drying time of acrylic and therefore allows a wider range of brush techniques.

Oil brush technique does not compare so closely with watercolour unless using very diluted oil paint, but even then canvas is quite different to watercolour paper. The brushes used tend to be very different also.
