If you really don't feel you can afford to take lessons then this doesn't have to stop you.
Try doing one hour each month. That's one lesson lasting one hour each month. This would only cost £35. Buying a coffee each day can cost more than £35 in a month. One hour doesn't sound like much, but it's certainly better than nothing and you may be surprised at how much you can learn in this time. There are also plenty of things to practice at home, between lessons!
